Shell of Galeria Amber is complete

The work on the shell of the Galeria Amber shopping centre has been completed. The first tenants will move into the facility in April later this year and will start adapting their shops in the largest shopping and entertainment centre in the Kalisz and Ostrów conurbation.

The construction of Galeria Amber is going according to schedule. “The work on the steel structure of the roofing above the passageways is in progress. The assembly of electrical and sanitary fittings and the work on the flooring and thermal insulation are also at an advanced stage. The redevelopment of the road layout, which involves the construction of a roundabout and a new section of road between the PKP railway station and Galeria Amber, is in progress,” says Rafał Kornatko, project manager at Echo Investment. The commercialization of the facility is progressing smoothly. Seventy per cent of its retail area has already been leased. Grupa LPP, which is to open shops of all its brands in Galeria Amber: Reserved, House, Mohito, Cropp Town and Sinsay, has increased the combined area of its shops to nearly 3,500 sqm. The new area of the Reserved shop is 1,700 sqm, House – 470 sqm, Cropp Town – 440 sqm, Mohito – 470 sqm and Sinsay – 375 sqm. Contracts have also been signed with: E.Leclerc, Helios, H&M, C&A, New Yorker, RTV Euro AGD, Matras, CCC, Rossmann, 4F, Adidas, Reebok, Kazar, Ecco, Orsay, Via Roma, VIP Collection and others. The completion of the work on the lock-up stage is planned for the end of March 2013. This is when the area will become available to tenants. The opening of Galeria Amber will take place in November later this year. Galeria Amber is a four-storey shopping and entertainment centre, which is being built in the centre of Kalisz, near the main railway and bus stations, at the junction of Górnośląska Street and Trasa Bursztynowa. Its leasable area amounts to 33,500 sqm. The facility will contain an E.Leclerc hypermarket as well as 140 shops and service outlets, including cafes and restaurants. There is also a 7-screen cinema planned, the operator of which will be Helios. Its customers will have app. 1,000 parking spaces at their disposal. The preliminary architectural concept of Galeria Amber has been developed by Bose International Planning and Architecture. The author of its construction design is the Artur Jasiński i Wspólnicy Biuro Architektoniczne Sp. z o.o. architectural studio and Echo Investment"s team of architects. www.galeria-amber.com.pl
