Oxygen in Szczecin, Aquarius Business House in Wrocław and Park Rozwoju in Warsaw have been awarded prizes in the CEE Green Building Awards 2012 competition, which was organized by EuropaProperty.

The gala during which the awards for the best ecological buildings were presented took place on the 29th of November earlier this year in Warsaw. Echo Investment won three categories. Its Oxygen building received the EU GREENBUILDING Programme Certificate award while Aquarius Business House in Wrocław and Park Rozwoju in Warsaw both received awards in the BREEAM Design-Phase Certificate category. Echo Investment has been consistently implementing its policy which involves the usage of eco-friendly solutions. All Echo Investment"s new office developments will have ecological certificates. While preparing the use of BREEAM standards, the company introduced a programme which facilitates substantive preparation and established a team of specialists which consists of certified BREEAM assessors. The result of this strategy is the growing number of ecological certificates. In October earlier this year Warsaw"s Park Rozwoju received a BREEAM certificate with a "Very Good" grade and the highest result in this category in Poland – 67.83 pct at its design stage. Also the first stage of Aquarius Business House in Wrocław received a BREEAM Interim certificate with a "Very Good" grade and a very high result of 64.39 pct. A4 Business Park in Katowice is undergoing the BREEAM certification process. A BREEAM report has been submitted to the certifying company. The Oxygen office building in Szczecin received a GreenBuilding certificate earlier this year. Also Park Postępu in Warsaw and Astra Park in Kielce have ecological certificates, which they received earlier.
