Helios and Echo Investment have concluded a lease contract concerning space in Galeria Olimpia in Bełchatów, which is to be occupied by a 6-screen cinema.
The cinema of the Helios chain will have 1,233 seats located in six screening rooms. This is yet another contract between Echo Investment and Helios. The companies have cooperating with each other for many years. There is a 7-screen Helios cinema operating in Galeria Echo in Kielce.
The investor also cooperates with the Multikino chain, the facilities of which are open in Pasaż Grunwaldzki in Wrocław and the Galaxy shopping and entertainment centre in Szczecin.

Galeria Olimpia is being developed on a plot of land neighbouring Centrum Handlowe Echo. The leasable area of the project amounts to app. 21,000 sqm. It will include approx. 80 shops as well as service and gastronomy outlets. Galeria Olimpia and the neighbouring Centrum Handlowe Echo will create a functionally connected retail and service complex with a gross leasable area exceeding 30,500 sqm. There will be two car parks servicing traffic around the centre, an underground one and an above-ground one, and also park near CH Echo, which will offer a total of 1,100 parking spaces.
The general contractor of the facility is Polimex-Mostostal SA. Galeria Olimpia is planned to be opened in August 2012.
