Lots of fun to be expected on February 14, 2008 on the Łomża Ice Rink! The hosts: ECHO INVESTMENT and the Municipal Office invite everyone to FLUO PARTY - a luminous St. Valentine's Day event. On February 15, the www.galeriaveneda.com.pl website launches a photo contest concerning the Łomża ice rink.

FLUO PARTIES are highly popular events across Europe, which draw on unusual effects of applying fluorescent paints on the faces and hairs of those present, combined with special UV lighting. Paints will be applied by professional beauty consultants and the whole event will be enriched with light gadgets: bracelets, necklaces, glasses, bands and wigs. The party will begin on St. Valentine’s Night at 4:00 p.m. on the ice rink in Łomża, Plac Niepodległości.
Hot chocolate will be served FREE to all guests. The atmosphere will be heated by DJ Mavi. The hosts are announcing numerous contests with attractive awards, with an ice-skating MC of the whole show.

On February 15, a photo contest will be launched, whose subject will concern the ice rink and, more importantly, the inhabitants of Łomża as visitors. This is another initiative of Echo Investment, which is being implemented with the assistance of the Municipal Office, Gazeta Współczesna, RMF MAXXX radio station, and 4lomza.pl website.
The rules are very simple: to win one of the ten attractive prizes (photo camera, mp3 players), you only need to log in to the contest site, upload your interesting, funny or extraordinary photo related to the ice rink and wait for other website users’ votes. ECHO INVESTMENT has already built an artificial ice rink for the inhabitants of Łomża, located at Plac Niepodległości. It was opened on December 16, 2007 and according to available statistics, it is expected to be among the largest winter attractions for Łomża. During two weeks of December, 10,945 tickets were already sold. The skate rental outlet was used 12,348 times during the same period. The ice rink has since been most popular during the weekend between Christmas and New Year, i.e. on December 29 and December 30, 2007.

The ice rink with an area of 800 square meters (20 x 40 m) was a joint initiative of ECHO INVESTMENT and the authorities of Łomża. The facility is assumed to operate until mid-April 2008.
ECHO INVESTMENT invested nearly 200 thousand PLN in this project. The costs of ice rink maintenance and daily operations are borne by the Municipal Office of Łomża.

Preparation of the “Winter Holiday on Ice” festivity is one of ECHO INVESTMENT’S activities in the town. The Company intends to develop a large shopping center called Galeria VENEDA, to be located at Zawadzka and Sikorskiego Streets in the town. ‘We are an experienced investor, well integrated with the communities of towns in which we operate, and we are always trying to recognize our customers' needs. We are also willing to meet their requirements regularly, in agreement and cooperation with local government authorities’, says Krzysztof Giemza, Director of the Shopping Centers Chain, who is responsible for monitoring the works on the Łomża establishments.
'Through engaging in such initiatives, we are able to integrate better with the community and to establish a better presence in the given location. We are engaged in long-term investment plans to be implemented in Łomża and we are therefore pursuing extensive activities here. We intend to collaborate with local contracting companies, recruit our employees from the local people, and it is therefore obvious for us to strive for regular presence in daily lives of the inhabitants of Łomża. This is how we came upon the idea of the event and inviting the stars, and that's why we had earlier decided to build an artificial ice rink’, he added.

Within the range of cooperation with the Town authorities, Echo Investment had previously contracted development of a conceptual design for the Cultural Center of Łomża. Works on the concept of such Center are being finalized presently.

Galeria VENEDA will be built at the crossing of Sikorskiego and Zawadzka Streets. Architectural assumptions for the building are the responsibility of 2G STUDIO design office of Kielce, headed by Mr. Wojciech Gwizdak. The mall will comprise about 60 shops and service outlets. The anchor tenant will be the Real hypermarket. A parking lot for more than 600 cars will be built. The anticipated area of the VENEDA center will exceed 18 thousand square meters, and its costs are estimated as 80 million PLN.

Construction of the Cultural Center of Łomża is included in the town's long-term investment plan. This place will be designed for kids, youth and adults. Its purpose will be to expand passion and interests, along with integrating the local community.
ECHO INVESTMENT has the necessary knowledge for proper design of this building and has offered free of charge design to the town. The Company has contracted the design from Mr. Wojciech Gwizdak’s 2G STUDIO design office of Kielce.
The area of the Culture Center of Łomża will be approx. 11 thousand square meters. The preliminary estimation of the costs of this project is 40 million PLN.
