On May 17th at 6:00 PM, a walk along the traces of pre-war dining establishments in Wola will depart from Warsaw Breweries, uncovering dark culinary and criminal stories from the past. Admission to the event is free.
The tour will be led by Bartosz Paluszkiewicz, author of the book "Menu Zbrodni" and Warsaw enthusiast Łukasz – Ostoja Kasprzycki, known from the project "Po Warszawsku," who regularly guides tours around Warsaw Breweries. The guides will take participants on a journey tracing the crimes described in the book. The backdrop of the story, based on criminal tales from pre-war Warsaw, are restaurants and bars where the criminal underworld used to gather.
- This is our next walk, this time referring to the dark side of culinary history. It will be really interesting, so we invite everyone eager to discover Warsaw's secrets — including those planning to visit this part of the city during Museum Night — to join us, says Milena Nawrat, Spokesperson of Warsaw Breweries.
The walk will start on Saturday, May 17th at 6:00 PM at the colorful stairs in Warsaw Breweries, at ul. Haberbusch i Schiele 2.
The event is free, but registration is required via the form https://forms.gle/a4yRK3YCZz5mShQL7.
