Fashion and Bielany - two new tenants in Galeria Młociny

The wide fashion offer of the latest shopping and entertainment complex, co-organised by EPP and Echo Investment, will be expanded to include Lavard and Pako Lorente. The opening of Galeria Młociny, which is now over 90% leased, is planned for the spring.

The store of a Polish brand with multigenerational tailoring experience will occupy162 sqm.and will be located adjacent to other stores on the +1 level. Founded in 1975 Lavard specialises in men's fashion, and on shelves and hangers in the store you can find a wide range of shirts, jackets, suits, coats as well as various classic and casual accessories. Designers of the brand skillfully combine modern, world standard desig with the highest quality fabrics. The company, whose entire production process takes place in Stare Bystre at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, also offers a part of its offer to women. The elegant Lavard Woman collection includes smart suits, jackets, skirts, rompers, dresses and a whole range of accessories.

The brand focuses on a coherent image, which can be noticeable in decorations of its flagship stores, and this kind of store will appear in Galeria Młociny. On 162 sqm in the duobrand store, in addition to the full men's and women's collection, clients will also find a ceremonial fashion showroom as well as a bespoke tailoring service.

"The development strategy of our chain focuses on the best retail locations in large cities. A huge advantage of Galeria Młociny, apart from its location and transport issues, is Fashion Avenue (Aleja Mody), full of stores owned by leading brands. Lavard will be an important part of it" says Marcin Gacek, President of the Management Board of Lavard.

Fashion Avenue is loicated on the entire first floor of a modern complex with a total lease area of 75,000 sqm. Its distinguishing feature will be the spacious 7.5-meter-high glass shop windows, where brands will be able to present the latest collections.

"Galeria Młociny will make fashion, style and chicness come to Bielany this spring. Thanks to really good access - we are only two steps from the interchange and underground station - you will be able to visit Galeria Młociny easily, quickly and often, what will certainly help you keep up with all fashion trends and new collections" says Marcin Szlufik, Senior Leasing Manager  at Echo Investment's Shopping Centers Department.

More elegance for men

Pako Lorente is a Polish brand with an established position on the Polish clothing market, but it is also appreciated outside the country. At the beginning, a range of products included mainly men's shirts, the offer of the brand very quickly expanded by suits, jackets, trousers and coats as well as a wide range of accessories and footwear which allows to create a complete stylisation.

Today, the chain owns almost 50 stores in Poland, and the newest flagship store will occupy 120 sqm in Galeria Młociny.

The collections appearing every season can be distinguished thanks to acombination of current trends and timeless classics. Proposed models of suits, trousers, shirts, coats, and jackets are designed and made with a full understanding of male body composition. Thoughtful designs underline its greatest strengths, and careful performance and attention to every detail guarantee comfort of use, what translates into satisfaction of the brand's clients. Variety of fashions, characteristic details and an interesting colour range from the Pako Lorente collection is a showcase of the brand.

"In the spring we will invite you to the store, where men at different ages and having different sizes of wallets can be dressed from head to toe, and more importantly very fashionable. We arrange the store in such a way that shopping will be pleasant and intuitive, and proper display of products made it easier for buyers to find themselves in the store" says Rafał Chrapkowicz, President of Pako Lorente.

The store in Bielany will be developed based on the latest retail space arrangement concept, which is distinguished by: modern design and timeless colours such as: white, black, complemented with warm gray. Modern shelves made of metal, combined with the natural colour of wood will add elegant and at the same time mannish nature.

"The opening of another store in Galeria Młociny shows the power of attraction of this place, which is created by unique architecture, location and thoughtful tenant-mix. We hope that our guests will quickly learn about a unique nature of our mall and it will become their favourite place both for shopping and for spending free time" says Rafał Lisak, Director of Galeria Młociny from EPP, that will ultimately manage the complex.

New, mixed-use centre of Bielany

The place will combine 220 favourite stores and service outlets, comfortable offices, a medical centre, playgrounds, a fitness club, restaurants and cafes, a trampoline park and the first multiplex cinema in the district within a friendly and green area.

Galeria Młociny is distinguished by an innovative approach in the design of meeting places, entertainment and gastronomy. Its restaurant and entertainment space, which occupies the entire +2 floor and is connected with the green roof garden, has been divided into various functional zones. Architects from the renowned Broadway Malyan studio transferred the atmosphere of cosy cafes, street-food and eating out as well as outdoor dining among greenery to Warsaw’s Bielany district. This is the first concept of its kind in Poland.

Galeria Młociny is being developed right next to Młociny hub – one of the places with the best transport links in Warsaw, with direct access to the underground, numerous tram lines and bus routes, suburban and national buses, a bicycle station and a P&R car park. It is the most important transfer location for the northern part of the city and satellite towns and it is used by over 24 mln passengers every year.

Investors of Galeria Młociny are: EPP (70 pct shares) and Echo Investment (30 pct shares). The former company will manage the newly-opened complex. The latter one is fully responsible for the development and lease process.
