The 25,600 sqm Sagittarius Business House office building, whose main tenants are EY and Bank of New York Mellon, was purchased by Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate (Warburg-HIH Invest). The companies have executed the preliminary agreement that was concluded in July 2017.
Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate (Warburg-HIH Invest) is a German real estate investment manager that has purchased Sagittarius Business House for a fund managed on behalf of one of its institutional investors. It becomes the owner of Sagittarius by concluding the transaction worth EUR 74.5 million. “Sagittarius Business House is a premium property located in the CBD of a prosperous metropolitan area“, says Andreas Schultz, Managing Director, Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate. "With this transaction we open up our investors a further diversification opportunity in the attractive growth market in Poland“, adds the representative of Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate. “Sagittarius has already been presold to Warburg-HIH special fund during its construction which is in line with the strategy of profitable growth. We are very happy to hand over the building to a reputable long-term investor. Wrocław is a very attractive place to locate international business centres especially from SSC, BP and ITO sectors. Its main tenants are EY and Bank of New York Mellon, which are both going to occupy over 90 per cent of available space. The building obtained an occupancy permission in the second quarter of 2018.
