The development of the external road layout around Galeria Olimpia in Bełchatów has finished. The project, which involved the construction of a roundabout at the junction of Armii Krajowej Street and an internal road leading to the shopping centre, has been completed on schedule.
The scope of work financed by Echo Investment involved exchanging the whole structure with all the fittings as well as laying new pavements with a cycle path. Next to it, along the section starting from the junction of Wojska Polskiego Street and Armii Krajowej Street to the new roundabout, they also renewed the surface and exchanged pavements and kerbs.
The new, based on the roundabout road layout will make the traffic around Galeria Olimpia much smoother and will positively influence the quality of transport in this part of the town. The work has already been officially accepted by representatives of the Town Hall in Bełchatów.
The opening of Galeria Olimpia is to take place in November later this year. So far 90 pct of its retail area has been leased. The investor has prepared a special offer for local entrepreneurs.
“It is important for us to have not only popular global brands in the centre but also companies which operate locally and are well recognized by inhabitants of Bełchatów and its region. We want customers to be able to find companies and products which they are familiar with and appreciate while shopping in the centre,” says Michał Banasik, Leasing Manager in Echo Investment.
