In 2011 Echo Investment generated very good consolidated accounting profits: its revenue was nearly PLN 407 mln and its net profit amounted to PLN 176 mln.
The total value of the company"s assets amounted to nearly PLN 5.4 bln at the end of December 2011 and its equity was PLN 2.1 bln, which constitutes a y-o-y increase by over PLN 189 mln. At the end of 2011 the company had PLN 561 mln of cash.
The main factors which influenced the profit level included the sale of the Park Postępu office building in Warsaw as well as retail projects in Bełchatów and Pabianice. Very good profits from the lease of commercial space in new projects and those which were developed earlier were also not without importance, as well as the revaluation of the fair value of the projects held by Echo Investment. The revenue generated in 2011 shows stability and the systematic growth in terms of the value of the company"s property portfolio.
In 2011 Echo Investment strengthened its position thanks to finishing its largest development to date – Galeria Echo in Kielce. The project was appreciated at the MAPIC international real estate fair in Cannes, France, where it won the "Best Enlarged Retail Development" category. In 2011 Echo Investment also finished a few residential and office projects, including the Klimt House prestigious luxury apartment project in Warsaw"s Mokotów district.
