E.Leclerc in Galeria Amber
E.Leclerc in Galeria Amber

A hypermarket of the French E.Leclerc chain is to be opened in Galeria Amber in Kalisz developed by Echo Investment. The biggest shopping centre in the Kalisz-Ostrów agglomeration is currently under construction.

The E.Leclerc hypermarket in Galeria Amber will have an area of 5,500 sqm. E.Leclerc is one of the biggest European hypermarket chains with 40 locations in Poland at this point. “The E.Leclerc hypermarket is an ideal supplement of the varied programme offered by Galeria Amber. Shops of this type work very well in big, regional shopping centres. It is a very good solution for people doing their shopping every day and for those who do it on a weekly basis, for whom a much broader range of products compared to the basic offer of supermarkets is of great importance. It is particularly convenient for people getting here from places located further away, who come to the centre rarer but shop regularly, buy more and more comprehensively.  We expect Galeria Amber to be visited by a lot of customers from out of Kalisz. It is the biggest shopping centre in the region, which is also an element of a transport hub created by the neighbouring bus and railway stations. Shopping centres based on a similar functional and transport scheme such as Złote Tarasy in Warsaw, Galeria Krakowska and Galeria Bałtycka in Gdańsk are just a few examples confirming the efficiency of such solutions,” says Marcin Materny, director of Echo Investment"s Shopping Centre Department - Foreign Projects. ____________________________________________________________________________________________
