Works have started on development of a sports hall within the scope of 2nd stage of extension of the Galeria Echo shopping and entertainment center in Kielce.

At the beginning of June, Echo Investment signed a contract for development of a sports hall with Fakt Budownictwo of Kielce as the general contractor. Completion of this investment is scheduled for December 31, 2009. Earth works are currently in progress.

The sports hall will have an area of nearly 3,500 square meters. It will be used for didactic purposes and for holding contests in various sports disciplines. An approx. 40 x 43.5 m court will be available for playing handball, as well as two volleyball and basketball courts, or tennis courts. A convenient changing room complex and a shooting range is also envisaged in the facility. The auditorium of the hall will hold about 500 spectators. This establishment will be connected to the car park with a glazed link on first floor level.
