Echo Investment has gained a loan for the construction of three office buildings included in the multifunctional Fuzja project in Łódź. Bank Pekao S.A. provided financing for the investment.
Modern office and service space, functional space enabling flexible arrangement of offices, location in the city center in historical post-industrial areas – all this will be offered by the office buildings that are being constructed as part of Fuzja. The main tenant of the two buildings already in development is Fujitsu Poland Global Delivery Center – which is one of the world's largest providers of infrastructure and IT support. In accordance with the contract that has just been signed, Bank Pekao will grant Echo Investment nearly EUR 34 million in construction and investment loans, as well as PLN 10 million in VAT loan. The total funding period concludes on January 31, 2026.
“The quick renting of the first two office buildings and the acquisition of such a valued tenant as Fujitsu confirm the business potential of Łódź and the attractiveness of Fuzja as a place for working, living and spending free time. We are working towards making the area a part of Łódź again. We are also happy that Bank Pekao believes in its success, and that through financial participation it supports us in creating a new part of the city and helps construct a perfect space for cooperation and undertaking everyday professional challenges,” says Grzegorz Iwański, Echo Investment financing director.
Bank Pekao has been a partner of Echo Investment for many years. It financed the company's developer projects, including the construction of the Villa Offices and the Malthouse Offices in the Warsaw Brewery complex.
Fuzja's office buildings will become a part of the entire urban space of Fuzja. A historical wall - included in the register of monuments - will become a part of one of these buildings. The fragment was a part of the old building of the bleach, mangle and dryer. The buildings have been designed in accordance with the BREEAM certification guidelines and will be constructed and used with respect for the environment, which will be reflected, inter alia, in low energy consumption, low atmospheric emissions, as well as the use of environmentally friendly building and finishing materials.
Fuzja will restore life in the post-industrial areas of the former factory of Karol Scheibler in Łódź. In the area of nearly 8 hectares, at Tymienickiego street, the revitalized historical buildings will regain their splendor, and thanks to the new functions - they will fill up with people once again. More new facilities will also be built here to supplement the existing urban landscape with places to live, work, and socialise. The entire project will consist of four apartment buildings, as well as offices with a total space of about 40,000 sqm. The historical buildings will feature space for services, shops and restaurants. New urban squares, common areas and green spaces are going to be created, which will cover the area of nearly 4 hectares. In June next year, the first part of the square at the Power Plant will be ready, and will create a new, unique space for meetings and social activities.
