At Fuzja in Łódź Echo Investment builds the most modern flats
At Fuzja in Łódź Echo Investment builds the most modern flats

The smart housing market is growing dynamically - in 2019, its value was estimated at around USD 103 billion, and by 2023 it will increase to USD 157 billion. When talking about modern solutions, Poles value facilitation in everyday life, higher security level, and time savings. Soon the inhabitants of Łódź’s Fuzja will be able to see the advantages of modern technologies. That’s because Fuzja will be the place where Echo Investment introduces solutions and amenities that ensure comfort in everyday life.

How can our life look like in such a modern apartment? An internet-connected fridge will order necessary products by itself; using a smartphone - even if you work on the other side of the city - you will let a child who has forgotten the key. Integrated sensors automatically, taking into account your schedule, will keep the optimal temperature and sunlight. With the help of the application, you can order a table in a nearby cafe, shop in a nearby supermarket and find the electric scooter parked closest to you. And you will get your morning coffee served to bed ... by the robot.

Echo Investment brings the post-industrial part of Łódź back to life, creating in Fuzja a friendly, open quarter of the city where people will want to live, work and spend their free time. When designing this modern part of the city, Echo takes into account the needs of various users: office employees, hotel guests, residents, tourists and lovers of food, good coffee, or meeting friends.

„Every time we talk about creating places that attract people, or so-called destinations, we mean a new, urban experience where modern technologies meet traditional construction. The binder is a human being and his or her needs” says Waldemar Olbryk, a board member at Echo Investment. „In Fuzja, we respond to them by introducing smart technology to flats, and public space - modern solutions and amenities at your fingertips. We want the inhabitants, thanks to the use of smartphones for everyday activities, to be able to live easily and comfortably. We also want the users of our space to feel at ease – being able to pick an internet parcel from the Pacomatic smart private box, rent an electric car or scooter, and charge their electric car in the garage with a quick charger. All this creates a new quality of urban life” adds Waldemar Olbryk.

Echo Investment is a leader on the Polish market in terms of introducing intelligent solutions in the area of residential housing management and care. Since the implementation of the Echo Smart system in apartments, every customer has the opportunity to tailor it to their needs and use the help of advisers in its development.

"With a smartphone, our clients manage their money. That's why they readily accept the ability to regulate temperature, light, or access to their apartment remotely. They value mobility, which is why they want to use cars or bicycles for minutes. Because we want to follow the trends and create the right solutions for cities and their inhabitants, we must consider many more variables and than ten years ago. Gone are the days when developers acquired customers solely by controlling the price and size of apartments” says Dawid Wrona, sales director at Echo Investment's housing department. „All smart solutions in the condo are easy to use. They allow residents to manage, control and program not only household appliances and electronics, but also an alarm, turn on and off lighting and other devices intuitively - from home or remotely - using a smartphone,” adds Dawid Wrona.

Tomasz Chomicki, an expert from Samsung, emphasized the importance of the development of IoT (Internet of Things) technology, which in the future will be based on the 5G network, for better and better urban experiences.

„Unexpected guests? On the way home, you can easily start a robot that vacuums the apartment; you can remotely check the contents of the refrigerator to supplement for the missing supplies, turn on the dishwasher while being at work. We can already appreciate the convenience of using selected devices connected to one ecosystem. What is happening today is the Internet of Things. As our research shows, almost 25% of Poles understand it,” says Tomasz Chomicki, director of business development at Samsung. „The introduction of the 5G network in the future will allow the connection of up to one million different devices operating on one square kilometer, automatic data transmission, transfer from one to ten GB per second. Thanks to all that, everything can be connected to the network - a car, a train, a power plant. Also, everything we have at home - a fridge, an oven, or a vacuum cleaner, as well as other devices. The future looks up and is based on connectivity. According to analysts, all that will happen over the next five years,” adds Tomasz Chomicki.

Nowadays, the challenge is technological education and realizing that technology is only a tool to create a safe, effective, or energy-saving space in a city.

Education encourages consumers to make informed and more environmentally friendly choices regarding the way of life and work,” says Przemysław Zakrzewski, director of the ABB Corporate Technology Center. „Ensuring sustainable mobility improves air quality, reduces noise levels, and allows for greater energy savings, as do smart solutions in buildings and residential estates. Investors such as Echo Investment reach for modern technologies because they are the basis for improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of a modern city. In the future, new technologies - 5G, cloud computing, cooperating works - will provide support in the overall management of the entire neighborhoods, its security, and energy efficiency,” adds Przemysław Zakrzewski.

Research carried out by Reas at the request of Echo Investment clearly shows that Poles are ready to pay more for convenience, technology, and public services. The report Smart Home, Smart Community, Smart City shows that every fifth respondent is more likely to buy a flat in the housing estate with services such as a scooter rented for minutes or a parking place for a shared car. Therefore, in Fuzja, customers will have at their disposal electric car chargers, Pacomatic smart boxes, operated from the application on a smartphone, parking spaces for car-sharing, bicycle stands, and other amenities. Apartments in Fuzja are ready for easy and convenient use of the so-called smart solutions. They have a built-in smart functionality management system, thanks to which residents can add new functions and applications without having to rebuild the installation and lay out new cables. In two-room and larger apartments, lighting regulators and an automatic temperature to control system will be installed, among others. All these solutions will be included in the Łódź investment as standard, without additional charges.
