Galeria Młociny goes hand in hand with coffee fans
Galeria Młociny goes hand in hand with coffee fans

A single-line coffee store, coffee machines and accessories is added to the list of tenants of the complex being developed in Warsaw’s Bielany. It will be the first store of Przyjaciele Kawy, known so far only from shopping streets, which the chain decided to open in this type of facility. In case of this transaction, Przyjaciele Kawy were advised by experts from the international consulting company Cushman & Wakefield. The opening of Galeria Młociny, which is already over 90% leased, is planned for the spring of 2019.

Przyjaciele kawy provides a large selection of coffee beans from various regions of the world, roasted in various ways. These speciality coffees are very rich in terms of taste and aroma. In jargon, they are called. What distinguishes this store is to have experienced service, which interestingly talks about coffee and helps you to choose the right mixture or coffee maker.

“We want every visitor of Przyjaciele Kawy to feel like a guest, not customer. With both hands, we sign under the slogan of Galeria Młociny - "Let's meet" - because it's hard to find better meetings than those in the world of coffee. We believe that our latest location will be welcomed with great enthusiasm, above all by those who do not know us yet in Warsaw” underlines Aurimas Vainauskas, CEO, The Coffee Mate Group.

Coffee specialists could be found by Varsavians in Mirów  at Pańska street until now. Currently, the chain owns 3 locations throughout the country.

“Poles are lost on coffee. They not only come to a café for their favourite espresso or latte, but more and more often they call by the single-line coffee stores. They look for original mixtures, they ask boldly about the origin of grains and roasting methods. And more and more money is also spent on various coffee machines and accessories, allowing for coffee experiments at home. The latest store of Przyjaciele Kawy at Galeria Młociny will be a must-visit place for all great coffee fans” says Marcin Kopczyk, Senior Leasing Manager Echo Investment’s Shopping Centres Department.

In the store, in addition to good coffee, you will be able to buy a variety of types of coffee machines- from piston and pourover, through capsule to automatic. Przyjaciele Kawy will also help in choosing machines that will work at offices and in catering. On the shelves you will also find accessories for non-standard, pour-over coffee making - chemexes, aeropressas or drippers.

New, mixed-use centre of Bielany

The place will combine 220 favourite stores and service outlets, comfortable offices, a medical centre, playgrounds, a fitness club, restaurants and cafes, a trampoline park and the first multiplex cinema in the district within a friendly and green area.

Galeria Młociny is distinguished by an innovative approach in the design of meeting places, entertainment and gastronomy. Its restaurant and entertainment space, which occupies the entire +2 floor and is connected with the green roof garden, has been divided into various functional zones. Architects from the renowned Broadway Malyan studio transferred the atmosphere of cosy cafes, street-food and eating out as well as outdoor dining among greenery to Warsaw’s Bielany district. This is the first concept of its kind in Poland.

Galeria Młociny is being developed right next to Młociny hub – one of the places with the best transport links in Warsaw, with direct access to the underground, numerous tram lines and bus routes, suburban and national buses, a bicycle station and a P&R car park. It is the most important transfer location for the northern part of the city and satellite towns and it is used by over 24 mln passengers every year.

Investors of Galeria Młociny are: EPP (70 pct shares) and Echo Investment (30 pct shares). The former company will manage the newly-opened complex. The latter one is fully responsible for the development and lease process.
